About Me

My love for barre comes from the feeling of leaving class a little taller, a little stronger, and a lot more aligned than when I walked in. Outside the studio, I work full-time and have spent the last 10 years in the energy industry. Like many people, I’ve experienced the effects of long hours at a desk, tight shoulders, questionable posture, and the occasional stress-induced desire to disappear into a blanket burrito. That’s why I started barre—and why I keep coming back. Whenever I feel stiff, out of balance, or simply drained, barre helps me reset. It clears my mind, strengthens my body, and reminds me that standing tall should feel effortless, not aspirational. Sharing that feeling with others is what inspired me to start teaching.

My Teaching Style

In my (English only) classes, expect a full-body workout with a strong focus on proper alignment and breath. We always move through a combination of warm-up, upper-body work, mat work, and barre exercises—though not necessarily in that order. I like to keep things fresh and occasionally mix up the sequence.I don’t believe in rushing through movements. If I notice the class is particularly enjoying (or particularly needing) a specific exercise, we’ll happily spend a little more time there. As a result, the burn is usually guaranteed. My playlists are just as varied as the classes themselves, featuring everything from pop and house to a healthy dose of 80s classics.

Inspirational Transformation

Most clients arrive in class carrying the weight of their day, but leave with a smile, a few jokes, and some well-earned muscle soreness. Many also mention feeling a newfound openness through the upper body and that satisfying sensation of being able to stand up straight without having to think about it.
