YOGA
Hatha yoga or classical yoga has many different trends and approaches. However, whatever we come across is sure to have something in common: the relationship between breathing and movement.
In Hatha yoga, we practice the asanas, or poses, to the rhythm of breathing, thereby protecting the muscles and joints, keeping the asanas for at least 6-8 breathing cycles. In a class, the goal will always be to move the whole body, strengthen and stretch the spine, the shoulders. Flowing motion is combined with persistent/static poses.
You are only as young as your spince is flexible.
Breathing exercises in Hatha yoga have a stress relieving effect, regular exercise increases lung capacity and helps remove toxins from the body.
By practicing yoga regularly, we will become more resilient and stronger. We become more conscious of our bodies and we become more conscious in our daily lives as well. The Heart opens and the soul returns home.
